Since Jerad had two weddings today, the boys and I headed over to Nana & Boppa’s for a little fun in the sun! While they slaved away doing yard work, my minions and I played on a blanket, taking pictures, playing with Hot wheels and enjoying the amazing weather! I even got on a bike for the first time in years and took a quick spin around the block…I forgot how fun it is, and am now even more convinced that we need to invest in a couple for ourselves!
Cohen is just so fun to take pictures of! He has just started to really enjoy holding onto objects, and since brother Liam wasn’t in the mood to share any of his Hot Wheels, Cohen got a twig of Jasmine. I think he liked it!
Liam even helped Boppa wash the motorcycle, sort of. He was more interested in squirting the hose, but good effort!
Lucky for us, it was warm enough to try out Nana’s new pool that Boppa bought her! Woohooo! It was just deep enough that Liam needed his floaty, but was still able to walk around. The first initial jump was pretty chilly, but we warmed up pretty quickly with some laps around the pool and a darn good whirlpool!
I love that in the same house I grew up in and have so many special memories, my boys are now creating some of their own! But I know that it’s just not the house, because it is just a house, it’s because of the amazing grandparents that live there!
