Washi & Double sided Tape DIY Vases

Late last night, when my tired babies finally fell asleep and my droopy eyelids threatened to close, I suddenly was overcome by the desire to craft.  REALLY?! Yeah right, like I’d make anything worth keeping in my state.  But, I thought, “What the heck.  It’s been awhile.”

I have been wanting to try this DIY craft with double sided tape for awhile now, and since it’s a pretty easy one, it was perfect for my sleepy, and yet crafty stupor.

This is what you’ll need:

A roll of double sided tape, few rolls of your favorite Washi tape, and I used my fabulous collection of Martha Stewart glitter (She has the best colors!). For my vases,  I used empty baby food jars and a glass cylinder that I got from the DollarTree.

I added the Washi tape first, to avoid trying to place it after with glitter everywhere. Then I simply add the double sided tape where ever my crafty heart desired.

Then break out the glitter and have a party! Actually, after applying the glitter once, rub your hand over it to remove the excess and then apply one more time.

When it comes to glitter, I always say the more the better!

Then fill your beautifully decorated lil’ jars with wonderfulness!

I even added a candle to one and watched it sparkle!

I think I may have found my new favorite craft to do with my Washi tape and glitter!
