Well, if you ask my husband what my favorite city is, he will tell you whichever one is at least 500 years old. funny guy. But I do love a beautiful historic town! Downtown Savannah, Georgia was so gorgeous, and there just seemed to be never ending pockets of awesomeness! Oh, and I do love Ventura California with its beachfront property and streets lined with thrift stores.
But of course I do Love Modesto, my hometown for which I have known no other! Maybe because I have lived here all my life, or maybe because I have gotten to know all the great and amazing people living in it, but I really do truly Love Modesto! If fact, coming up very soon is the Love Modesto Event! It is a chance for everyone in the community to get out of their houses, out from in front of their televisions and love on their city and the other people living here! From community service projects like cleaning parks and building homes, to visiting people in the hospitals and nursing homes, to park events for kids and delivering goodies to friends, there is something for everyone!
