Lent over in this neck of the woods is going pretty darn good! Praise God! For the first time in a long time I actually have a desire to read from the word of God for fun, and not just because I feel like I have to! I have a new freshness in my faith and I have conversations with Jesus throughout the day and not just at meals ;)!!! Not having the television going during the day has been really nice. Liam and I have been out for jogs, and made numerous block castles and have read all of his books at least twice every time! But it hasn’t all been gravy…there have definitely been some times where I just wanted to zone out in front of the tv. But I stood strong and read my bible and was very productive after. I was talking to my mom about it the other day and decided that the tv I am not watching for Lent is the tv I watch by myself. Although Jerad and I don’t really watch a lot of tv together anyways, we have missed our date night movie nights. So tonight we are going to rent ONE movie and snuggle on the couch!
