You know, shopping for decorations and trying to be creative was last on my list of things to do. I went to a number of different places trying to find some decorations that would stand out to no avail. I really wasn’t looking forward to the cookie cutter decorations I was going to be saddled with due to my own time restraints when I came across a blog. This girl is above and beyond talented. She makes various sizes of decorations that are unique, creative, and above all simply accent the event. Much like the owner, Simplymal is just that…simple yet elegant. The book launching we were planning was a bit out of the ordinary. We had our book launching in a shoe store of all places, so she had a bit of a challenge to work with. Shoe store or no…it wasn’t a problem for her. When she arrived with the decorations, she immediately started setting up. By the time I came out she was completely finished. With very little direction from me, Mallory had created PRECISELY what I wanted. She provided a banner with flower garlands as well as some gift favor bags and a beautiful urn displaying a gorgeous silk flower arrangement. What I was most impressed with was Mallory’s dedication to me being able to reuse all of the decorations for various displays and her above and beyond reasonable pricing. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or original setup. Aside from our logo and book cover that was pre-designed, all of the ideas she came up with for our decorations were…well…Simply Mal. You’d better catch her now to grab those reasonable prices…this girl is going places for sure!
