The Dicken’s Craft Fair was wonderful!

The day started at 5:45am as I pulled my tired body out of bed and into warm Victorian-ish clothes; although my mom said I looked like a Victorian woman without her skirt! But hey, I think I looked pretty darn cute in my jeans and boots! After making sure the car was all loaded I headed downtown Modesto to start setting up! lol It was cold and starting to rain, but i tightened my scarf and thought of the hot coffee I was going to inhale after I was done!
My Aunt Karrie and our friend Danielle arrived right after I did and we got to work!

We had three tables covered in white and cream table clothes topped with lace and burlap. Karrie made a beautiful garland out of olive branches and hydrangeas that we draped across the front of the tent! Here’s a video I took with my phone before the crowds showed up…

This was at the end of the day; you can tell we were exhausted!

All in all it was a fabulous, cold and crafty day! We sold a good amount of stuff and enjoyed hanging out together drinking hot coffee and yummy fair food!
My mom did an incredible job juggling all the vendors and making sure everything went smoothly! Love you Mom!
