Since we still had a sick baby, the day after Thanksgiving was pretty open, so I talked the hubby into dragging in the Christmas tree and box from garage. I was so excited to start busting out all my sparkles! Liam seemed pretty excited to when I opened up all the boxes of “balls,” or what we adults call ornaments 😉 so we handed him a couple tubs of plastic “balls” to play with, which he then turned into some sort of weapon…boys.

After while, the boys got pretty bored with the whole process, so I was left to finish by myself, which wasn’t so bad once I turned on my Christmas music! I love the way our Christmas tree lights up our living room and makes it feel so cozy! Not to mention how every piece of tinsel sways and sparkles…I spend quite a lot of time watching it glisten.
I was a little nervous putting up our tree with our 18 month old little explorer, but he is actually doing really well! We play I-Spy with the ornaments, and only a few times has he tried to remove all the “balls” from the lower branches! He did though find it pretty entertaining to pull tinsel of the tree and listen to it snap as he pulls it apart! 😉 oh well, it’s all about the experience right!?
